Tibo Frames

Tjitte Bootsma (Tibo) started icespeedway in 1985/1986, initially he drove on an adapted MX-bike but after two winters the virus had hit him seriously and and a real icespeedway bike was purchased. The next 10 years Tjitte has traveled a lot to practice and to participate in races. During this period he discovered that the frames that were available could be improved enormously and gradually Tjitte adapted the existing frames to his requirements. After about 10 years of development, Tjitte grap the bull by the horns and in the autumn of 1996 the first TIBO icespeedway frame saw the light. The frame was equipped with a for icespeedway, by HK Suspension, specially developed front fork and rear shock. During the first race of the season 1996-1997 in Berlin, Tjitte amazed the complete icespeedway world by beating the complete world top on his new frame. The rest is history, the following 8 years Tjitte has successfully participated in many races and has further developed the frame and the evolution of the frames is still going on.

Now almost the entire world top is racing on TIBO frames and there are already won more than 10 world titles in icespeedway on a TIBO frame including seven consecutive titles by Nikolaj Krasnikov.
